Hello All,

I was wondering is there a SCADA analog for JSON-RPC Web API for transferring data?

I'm looking for an easier alternative to send data from the plant to the IT team, rather than setting a Web server and Web API at every single PLC (not only Siemens ones).

All the information I can find is regarding PLC to JSON, PLC to SQL, PLC to MQTT but nothing about SCADA to ****, where I have the information gathered anyway.

I took a look at the mentioned protocols, and correct me if I'm wrong but with the Runtime API, you can use the internal functions of WinCC in your own applications. Open Pipe looks better because it uses JSON parsers but does it require additional license purchase because of the "openness"?

Also, I found in the documentation that "For security reasons, access to internet resources (e.g. REST API, Json files) via JavaScript is not supported from the runtime" but Open Pipe uses the same, or I'm mistaken?
