Dear all,

I have to connect SCADA WinCC V15.1 with CPU 1515-2PN. SCADA server will be in control room and between them will be SCALANCE switches. Network will be Ethernet.

CPU 1515-2PN has two PROFINET networks X1 and X2. According to Siemens manual https://cache.industry.siemens.com/dl/files/167/81162167/att_915301/v1/s71500_cpu1515_2_pn_manual_en-US_en-US.pdf  PROFINET X1 has better performance than PROFINET X2.

Can I connect SCADA to PROFINET X2 for data exchange or connection must go to PROFINET X1?
