Hello experts, I need some help here to identify a problem… In an application using ProfiNet (CPU port) and a CP443-1 Advanced for plant communication, we are facing all configured connections dropping for that that CP. In the CP Diagnostic buffer shows that the connection was terminated by the connection partner, and in the Scalance it shows in the Statistics\Packet Errors the Jabber counter over a thousand packets for Port 1 (this one connects to the higher level system) What could make the Scalance fault like that, perhaps the Port going bad, or maybe the connection partner (is this that the jabber indicates?) Hello, here a link where what jabber means: http://www.thenetworkencyclopedia.com/d2.asp?ref=1054 Jabber can cause disconnections. Try to find the system that is jabbering, and replace the NIC. You have already an indication that it could be the system behind port 1. |
