at the time of downloading i have a message in log window "Check whether or not IP address of the module set was by DCP...".How can I configure internal & external IP addresses to S602 V3.0.???
I m using security configuration tool.

The factory reset of the S6xx modules is done by pushing on the small button hidden behind the cover at the rear of the module, till the F Led starts to blink. Than you release the button and wait until the S602 has restarted (F led is than yellow).

Now You put your PC in the range of the IP address that you want to assign to the red interface of the S6xx and you connect to that interface.

Than you have several possibilities to set the IP:
1) you encode the MAC address of the S6xx  (written on the front of it) into the project, in the field MAC foreseen for that purpose.
And you try to download your project. The SCT will try to assign the IP address

2) if the method above dos not work, you can use the PST (primary setup toll) found on the CD of the S602.

4) you could use Step7 via "Edit Ethernet node", or TIA via the device detection.

Be aware that you can only assign the IP once. If you made a mistake, you must reset to factory again using the button on the back.

The web interface of the S6xx cannot be used for configuring the S6xx. The Web interface is intended for the login of users, if you have created user specific firewall rules.
