Dear techies,

                I am facing problem in creating VPN tunnel between Scalance S612 and Scalance M874-4 modules using Static IP. I went through the manual given in Siemens site and almost all the configurations whatever we have done match the same. Now problem is,

1. As per the manual, certificates which are generated for M874-3 using Security configuration tool has to be loaded in Web based management to following path,

                                 System --- Load& Save --- HTTP --- IPseccert

               But in my case there is no such option and also I read in internet that X509Cert can be used to download the certificates. Once loaded I am able to see all the certificates are valid in Security --- Certificate menu. Problem is, In System --- Load& Save -- Password menu , after loading the project password it is not showing valid  in status.

2. Also I have configured VPN tunnel as per manual in following path,

                               Security --- IPSec VPN

                 I have enabled the VPN tunnel in Security --- IPsecVPn -- General menu after all the configuration steps were completed. Probelm is, I am getting error status in VPN Tunnel and also Local Host IP address is not showing which is the static IP from SIM Card inserted in M874-3. 

                    I have attached detail presentation with this query. Kindly go through and give us some solution. (Where the mistake will be??)

I have mounted the same network with S612 and M874-3. 

I have worked with the lastest firmware M874-3 V04.01.02 and S612 V04.00.01.01

I have read and read the "Setting up a secure VPN connection between SALANCE S and M874 Using a static IP Address" Tutorial from Siemens ...

I have the same problem, I don't understand...

I make the test in my home with a standard FreeBox V5 and ..... It's working.

-> Verifies that the ports are correctly rooted. In my firm the router doesn't work properly.

In my firm, I have worked on the Router, now it's ok. The problem was the routed port !

hi.. Thanks for you reply.. Yes the problem was routing in modem.. we were using WAN address used in scalance S612 but it should be the address from Scalance M874-3.
