Scalance W 700 - Pro.

Viraj_Guru Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello Friends, In my old installation for Crane application, we had Wireless Scalance 6GK5 788-1ST00-2AA6 used as Access Point & now it is not working also it is obsulute so we replaced it with successor 6GK5 788-1AA60-2AA0. I took old configuration from faulty scalance & configured the new scalance using PST, since I dont have Admin password for old device, whatever I got by User password, I put it in new scalnce... Still their is no communication. Also old device dosen't have C-PLUG. Do I need to update new scalance MFLB in S7 hardware ? or any other suggestion ? Thanks in Advance...!

Hello, Have you configured basic parameters for Accesspoints like IP Addreess , Sunbet mask , Network SSID as per the old Accesspoint? Are you able to ping IP Addreess? Since you don't have C-Plug you have to configure new accesspoint with basic configration wizard via PST.
