I  used SCALANCE X101-1 for communicating 2 Remote I/Os on Fiber Optics .

i faced one problem for using it stable.

After powering up Scalance and insertion of FO cable, i can monitoring of data transfer between both RIOs and it is working properly,

But when power off it ,due to any of reason, it is not become healthy automatically after powering on.

For doing system healthy , I have to remove FO cable and further insert into FO port of Module.

and that have to repeat for 2-3 time and system become healthy.

i am using it for first time, and so i don't know any configuration process of it.

I am facing the same issue.

In my case, I have two stations connected between two SCALANCE X101-1 by FO cable. When I restart one of them, the communication is completely lost and not coming back again. If I remove the FO and put it back again, system become healthy.

Does anyone know why is this happening?

do you solved this??

if not then try the following.

after powering on Scalance and establisheed communication succsefully, press SET Button for half of a second then releas it. this thing will  set that communication permanant.

you should try this.
