(see attached) Warning: Please make sure that all ports of the CP in PROFINET IO mode to which PROFINET IO devices are connected can be operated at 100 Mbps full duplex. Avoid the use of hubs. It could also be that it's caused by a specific setting on the CP or the X208 where you have set half-duplex or 10 Mbps. If that's is not the case I would consider it not important and it won't give you any issue during normal operation.

I guess you are aware that only trained personel can connect FO connectors in a good way. 150 m with Fiber optic and a SCALANCE X204-2 are no problem. I wonder what you meant with your Profibus related question since with Prodfibus we don''t talk about ethernet and switches at all. There you need an OLM.

If the device in your network has important settings like an IP, PN IO Name, ACL, ... then I would recommend to use it since it enables a PC free exchange of the switch in case of failure which minimizes the downtime of your installation.
