Scalance X212: Ethernet switch - no connection with fiber cable

We use a Scalance X212 ethernet switch, here's a problem that when we connect the optic fibre cable to the switch, the FO port's indicator doesn't lit and it doesn't work. And plus, fault indicator is turned on when the patch cords are connected to the switch.
