Please find the linkfor the detailed description about the progrmamming of FC 105 for the analog modules.

Hello, Besides what you offer, please note what extra features FC105 can provide that this simple equation can not convey.In most of cases,safety concerns and EN-ENO mechanism in the function to provide the substitue value.Please, read the follwoing topic that has been discussed recently: SCALE in STL Best regards Hamid Hosseini

Some times Signal counts are such that Threr is a possiblity of overflow,underflow,underrange, Overrange. While During Comissioning such information is very vital to identify where is the problem? Also, Block does not provide alarms for High Low Alarms for Analog Value. So i generally Prefer to use my own customized block with all this information without making use of FC105 and try to get all the required diagnostics data in single block.

Hello Amit_86, You are right, FC105 doesn't provide the diagnostics data if exists on the analog channel.That is OK because it is not intended to check that.For abnormal cases on channels we have interrupts to handle and use special system function to evaluate all cases you need.In manual related to analog modules for S7 300, you can find more information. For processing plus monitoring limits, normally we do such thing in PCS7 using analog drivers to convert raw data and generate bits for low and high warnings and alarms plus interface for operator.Note, such application are applied for giant S7 400 CPUs for controlling expensive plants and it is not a ordinary solution.
