Just create a SCL block and enter your SCL code as you did - except of the interface, which is done as in STL. Or you try to migrate your project into TIA Portal. Which version of TIA Portal do you have?

Saradhi Posts: 303 Rating: (3)	I am using 1214 DC/DC/DC firmware v2.2. i imported one scl source from a IM151-8 SCL source but when i compling i got erros. The IM151-8 SCL sources as 0 errors.

The IM151-8 SCL sources as 0 errors. I have imported many SCL source files from the OSCAT open source files. Many compile without error but when put with the project fail. There are features in S7-300/400 SCL that do not work in S7-1200 SCL, and likewise, S7-1200 SCL does not always work in S7-300/400. The SCL help file shows which commands apply to each. That said, take a look at the interface section of your imported SCL first. My experience found most import errors in changes for date/time from DT to DTL and things like word/int that should otherwise work fine are very particular in S7-1200 SCL. Very few automatic conversions or type coercion occur in S7-1200 SCL. You may need to add some DINT_TO_INT or WORD_TO_INT type conversions in various parts of the imported logic. Fix the problems in the interface section first. If there are none, fix problems from the top down in your program logic to make the S7-1200 SCL compiler happy. Most always it is type conversion problems, though, sometimes there are features that are unavailable in S7-1200 SCL. The 1ms timer that I believe is built into the S7-300/400's is not built into the S7-1200, so you will have to work around that with a new timed OB and implement yourself. Hope this helps. It is not very simple and the errors generated do not always help.
