Scope logic analyzer data logger function

rvalente Experienced Member Joined: 1/10/2015 Last visit: 4/12/2025 Posts: 47 Rating: (1)	Hello Mates, Is there any software capable of monitor some variables (I/Q/M) from the PLC through profinet / profibus, data log them and show on screen similar to an scope / logic analyzer I really miss this feature when debugging complex machinery. Sometimes I use the trend view on HMI, using some scada would to the tricky to, but is not exactly what I was looking, I want a engineering tool. Attachment logixplorer_waveform.png (231 Downloads)

Actually I use 2 applications with IBA and a S7-1516F. (IBApda and IBA HD-Server) After the last updates it works very well also with the "new" optimized data blocks. You have also with the free software IBA_Analyzer a very helpful system to analyse your logged data. How many signals (I/Q...) do you need to log? If you have more questions then.. regards CaOd
