Scout, change the original motor to new one

Romel_cas Regular Member Joined: 5/9/2010 Last visit: 4/5/2025 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Good morning, sorry but would like to help me , I have a similar problem , and I have no experience in programming in SIMOTION Scout , the point is that I am asked to change the original motor 1FK7022-5AK71-1VG0 , 1FK7022-5AK71-1DA0 new one , to install the engine does not recognize so suppose there q register it , but also do not appear in our catalog. I 'm using version 4.3 scout simotion ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Add new motors in Scout.

ChristophD Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 5/12/2006 Last visit: 4/28/2025 Posts: 22604 Rating: (3061)	Hello, both motors have DQ Interface so you must not configure the motor in Scout with the Ordernumber. The exact Motordata is read from the DQ Interface of the Motor. In Scout you must only select "Drive-CliQ Motor" and "read motrodata" on the drive where the motor data is changed. after the change you should upload the new sinamics configuration and save the püroject, then reconfigure the axis which is connected to this motor because the motors have different encoders and this must configured in the axis data set.
