SCOUT v4.2 SP1 - Missing Toolbars

Peter Dell'Aquila Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I found another post related to this, but could not locate the solution. I recently installed SCOUT v4.2 SP1 on a Windows XP SP3 virtual machine. The installation reported a few errors related to .xml files, but continued and appears to be working fine. The issue I am having is that I cannot access the dynamic editor toolbars for MCC Units and LAD/FBD units. Has anybody else experienced this, and if so, found a workaround.

DenisMor Posts: 344 Rating: (50)	Apparently it is a somewhat common problem with 4.2.1 installation. You will need to open the support request either on the this site or on the phone. The hotline will provide the procedure to fix the issue. The HF1 is being released soon as well. I imagine that would be one of the fixes in there.

Overshot Experienced Member Joined: 8/13/2011 Last visit: 3/21/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I have got same problem, but i could not find any solition. Another problem is the cross referance variables could not show or accsess on MCC chart after i convert my project v4.1.5 HF6 to v4.2.1

JUANSANCHEZ Posts: 251 Rating: (11)	set up language is english but first you should set up step 7 simatic manager before scout and when you set up step 7 you can choose more language and you should click german and english. then you can set up simotion scout.
