Scout V5.4 SP3 and problen with replacement of old Simotion D

BeppeConti Experienced Member Joined: 7/22/2014 Last visit: 3/17/2025 Posts: 68 Rating: (2)	Yesterday I had to prepare a project where a simotion D445 was replaced by a simotion D445-2 During the preparation I had the alarm "The output address 32767 of the module (Rack 0) is invalid" during the hardware compilation (there are no modules with address 32767). On my computer is installed Simotion Scout V5.4 SP3 I did several tests for half a day without solving. The stange was that i had done this operation before in the last few years without problems I tried to prepare the project using an old computer with the simotion Scout V5.3 installed and everything worked without problems So I checked in the documentation of the Simotion Scout V5.4 SP3 and found that this problem is indicated But I wonder how is it possible that a software version is released with such a serious problem? Do you know if there are any updates planned to fix this problem? Thanks Beppe

According to the document mentioned above said" There is no remedy in the SCOUT V5.4 (STEP7 V5.7) environment. An object replacement would have to take place in an environment in which STEP7 is lower than V5.7." I have tried Step7 5.6 according to the document but in this case , when I replace object with D445-2 V5.3 then it accepts but if I repalce D445-2 5.4 then shows message " Unable to create the object" Please suggest solution Thanks
