Dear garyjm68, you can enable the screensaver of yourHMI via thecontrol panel, unfortunatlythere is nobuilt-in option to change the image of your screensaver. However thereis a workaround andit involves the PLC and the HMI; you can check the activity of your HMI panel, if there is no activity you can start a timer, if the timer elapse you can display a screen of your desire (for example; a screen that containsyour company logo, named "screensaver screen"), if you touch the panel again the screensaver dissapears and activates the last used screen again. This can all be achieved by using the global area pointer of your HMI device, use the "screen number" area pointer do detectchanges in the"current field number", changes mean activity on the HMI. Use "current screen number" to register the last active screen before the screensaver was displayed. Use before mentioned parameters to trigger a timer, if the timer elapses you can use"job mailbox 51" (screen selection) to change you screen to the "screensaver screen".Once the screensaver registers a click or a change of field you can use "job mailbox 51" again to take you to the last active screen before the screensaver. More info can be found here: - job mailbox 51 (it's for winCC flex but also applies for tia portal winCC): FAQ: How do you configure screen selection on a Windows-based operator panel with WinCC flexible via controller job 51? - job mailboxarea pointer(Tia portal): https://www.automation.siemens.com/mdm/default.aspx?DocVersionId=63973877515&TopicId=61124243851 -Also search the tia portal help for:
How can you make a screen selection on a Windows-based operator panel via the controller without using a controller job? I hope this helps. Kind regards, Jens |
