Screennumber HMI

Hi All,

I have a problem with sending the current screennumber to the PLC. If i use 2 MWs in the Tag-Table then everything is working fine. But if i use Words in a DB then it isn`t working. The question is; what is wrong? Did i forgot a setting or something like that?

I see you are using abstolute access, but did you try to go with symbolic access?

That is working, very strange. WinCC gives no error if i use the absolute access. But if i use the sumbolic access then it`s working.

I am glad to read that you solve your issue.

I don't know which PLC you are working with, but I found it easier to work with symbolic than with absolute (depending on the task).

For the S7-1500, they are really working to go with symbolic.

So, I suggest to work with it than to battle against it.
