I'm trying to take a screenshot of a TP1200 in RunTime, and I can't find a solution... :

- (Edit 08/04) After a batch, I need to print something on an external printer and save a screenshot of a trend. This will be automated after each batch (end of bacth information sent by CPU)

- (Edit 08/04) The screenshot must be saved on the HMI SD card, I can't use a PC to simulate and take a screenshot

- The printer is already used, so I can't print to .PDF files

- I download "CaptCE" (as explained here : https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/38043669) but I get the message 'CapteCE' is not a valid Windows CE application

- I tried to used the 'sendkey' methods in VBScript, but with no result

- I can't use a PC with sm@rt access, the screenshots will stay on the SD card, and a PC won't be connected to the HMI

Do you have any idea ?

 You want to take a screen shot of the HMI and use it on you PC? The start the HMI simulation and take a screen shot at your PC display.

the Runtime sends all print orders to the standard printer. For creating the screenshots you can change the standard printer to PDF and afterwards reset it to the HW printer.

Of course you need a button on the screens you want to print to execute the system function printscreen.

WinCE 5.0. All working as described.

after searching a lot on simens forum and in google, i haven't found useful for taking screenshot and saving as image on windows ce panel. I have also tried captce and few others software but didn't work anything.

Therefore, I have created my own windows ce application for capturing screen during runtime. Which, I would like to share with you. please find attachemnt HMIScreenshot.zip

I have keep it very simple. All photos will be saved in the folder "HMIScreenshot" in same directory, where software is located.

Now you can place this software in your USB/SD card and call it through "Startprogram" in runtime. If you want to take photos of all screen then you can use "Activatescreen" in VBS to call all screen one by one and call HMIScreenshot.exe .

For example:

ActivateScreen "ScreenName", 0

StartProgram """\Storage card USB\HMIScreenshot.exe""", "", hmiShowNormal, hmiNo

Note: If HMIScreenshot.exe doesent work then you need to update compact framwork 2.0 or above. You can update compact framwork using SIMATIC Prosave software.

Compact Framework V2.0 is also attached.
