jul's Posts: 58 Rating: (1)	Hi!! Well, i'm working on winCC flexible advanced, and i have a problem: How to increase a tag all the second ? I saw on the task organizer but, minimally this is one event each minute. I would like to do this because i have to test a link all the second.To do this i have to increase a tag all the second. Moreover i would like to know if it is possible to execute a script whithout activate or press a button. That is to say, when the program is running, aumatically the scipt is activated (in loop).

Controls_Guy Posts: 30 Rating: (2)	There are a couple of other ways to trigger a script to execute. One way is based on a tag value where you can set this up under the tag properties' events. The tag can be set to trigger on change of value, low limit or high limit. I typically use booleans on the PLC side to trigger specific scripts. Also, under 'device settings' there is the 'scheduler' where you can run script based on cyclic time values or some predfined WinCC Flexible events. I hope this helps!

Controls_Guy Posts: 30 Rating: (2)	What I meant by trigger is a means or action that will execute the script. For example, on the PLC side I have a boolean variable defined in a DB, lets call its boolean_var_1. On the WinCC Flexible side, I have also defined this same variable that points to the DB location. If I go to the properties for this tag I have the option toinitiate an action under EVENTS that can be based on "CHANGE VALUE", "LOW LIMIT" or "HIGH LIMIT". In this example, I choose "CHANGE VALUE" and point it to execute a Scipt. So any time on the PLC side boolean_var_1 changes value WinCC will run the script we pointed it to under "CHANGE VALUE". This could have easily have been an internal tag within WinCC Flexible. Like I mentioned earlier, you can also call a script from the "SCHEDULER" under "DEVICE SETTINGS". There you can define a script or some type of action to be executed on a cyclic time value, for example, every 1 sec, 1 minute or 1 hour. Also, there are some predefined WinCC Flexible actions that can call a script such as "Change User" or "STOP RUNTIME". Good Luck [:D]

In the scheduler i can't have an action executed all the second. I have hour, minute but not the possibility to choose all the second !! that's a pity for me !!

I guess you have to use the plc in some way - then it's easy, unless someone knows how to use only the HMI. I would also like to know how this could be done as it could be very useful.

What I want to accomplish is to update a tag that makes a graphic IO field to change picture at least every second (I wanted more often but for now I only got one second). I've tried before to use a tag in the PLC and changed the acquisition cycle in my panel but the result has never been good (doesn't repeate).
