"An error occurred while creating or interpreting the system SDB. The action will be aborted" This seems to be linked to the cp 443-1 card. If i take it off the network it compiles with no issues, but as soon as i connect it back to the network it gives the above error. Does anybody have any clues on where to look or what to try? If this is a old project and you just add one or more component in hardware config, delete only them, after that make save and compile and add this component again. regards

And if you do a new Project that should not even be required. the problem really seems to be with the config of the cp 443-1 which is rather odd, even tried different versions with no success as of yet

I tried to add I/O cards remove after that, change Netpro configuration and I haven't problem with save and compile. What version of Simatic Manager and Simatic Net did you use? regards

The only thing that has changed as of late is that i Installed the pc USB Adapter for usb to MPI. Could that cause a particular problem? Attachment installed_software.jpg (243 Downloads)

Here: Service Pack 3 for STEP 7 V5.3 and STEP 7 Professional Edition 2004 2. Update your SimaticNet to HF8: : SIMATIC NET CD Edition 2008 Hotfix 1, SIMATIC NET CD Edition 2007 Hotfix 3, ...,SIMATIC NET CD 11/2003 SP 1, ... I don't like USB connected with Siemens. regards
