Selecting the right PLC

In my proyect i need to read 36 digital input at 600 rpm, or 10 rps from sensors mounting over axis in different machines . My question is: Can i get this using the interruption funtions of PLC S7-224, in the manual i read only 4 digital input with this property ? , then would have i thar to use 9 PLC s7-200? or maybe i using a high speed counter with mode 0, in the manual i read that i can use the digital input I0.0, I0.6, I1.2, I0.1, I0.3, I0.4, then i would have 6 digital input able for this, is right this?, then would have i thar to use 6 PLC s7-200? or maybe can i use a S7-314C with 24 DI, but how can use this PLC for to read this frecuency without troubles? and how many PLC Do i need? i hope your help. thanks
