Dear All, 

Please help me to understand selection criteria for  S7-redconnect. In Price list we have many option for the same. Please refer below details.

1. S7-redconnect V 8.0 (6GK1760HB803AA0)

2. S7-redconnect/2008 (6GK17160HB713AA0)

3. HARDNET-IE S7 REDCONNECT V8.1 ( 6GK17160HB081AA0)

4.  HARDNET-IE S7 REDCONNECT V8.2 ( 6GK17160HB082AA0)

How to select above license for Wincc 7.0 ,Wincc 7.2 & Wincc 7.3 ?? Also please explain me difference between S7-redconnect & HARDNET-IE S7 REDCONNECT? When we are using HARDNET and S7-redconnect??

Please help me to understand.

So it is the same, only a newer version. WinCC will then connect to the OPC Server with REDCONNECT as OPC Client?

          Thanks for your quick reply. I just want understand on which basis we are selecting version of S7 redconnect ? because their different version availble like V8.0/V8.1/V8.2/V2008/V12.

The version depends mostly on your operating system and the CP cards you are using.

If you are starting from the root: get actual CP cards and get the newest version (V13) of SIMATIC NET.
