Sematic CFC V8.2 SP1 not supported by Windows7 Ultimate?

Hello,

When i try to open the HW config of a sertain existing project in Step7 V5.5 it tells me that i can't edit the data and that i have to install CFC version V8.2 or higher for that to change.

The vm i'm running uses Windows7 Ultimate as operating system.

Internet tells me that CFC V8.2 SP1 supports this operating system, but when i try to run the installation .exe is says it does not support it. When i neglect the pop-up and try to install it anyway it says that "The software cannot be installed on your computer with the operating system Windows7 Ultimate SP1".

Is there a way to fix this issue so that i can editi the data?

do you have any screen of the messages?
CFC 8.2 should have no problem to install in Win7 SP1 x64.

from the screens it looks that this is not the origin Setup for CFC.

From where you have the Setup files you try to install?

Hello.

Use checkbox 'Extract the setup files wothout being installed'. Then open the folder where the files were extracted, run setup.exe from this folder, it should work.
