Thyristorized Fusesare more sensitive then normal HRC fuse you know why? In 3NE Siemens uses Sliver as a arcing medium where as in HRC its copper and hence before thyristors sees high s/c current silver melts and protects it against bursting. What happen if we use HRC fuse with the same? Hello All I would like to add question to the above matter is it ok to add fuses for DOL as they high in rush current during starting please advice????

Hello, Yes it is possible. It's called FusedDOL. To select suitable fuses, OL relay or motor starters .... etc. You can use thisConfigurator. Hope this helps.
