First I would create a program for PC which would send an SMS andreceive a text message as a parameter. Then I would create GMsgFunction() which is called every time when a message appears and which would call the program which sends SMS About GMsgFunction() http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/15350783 |

There was a similar discussion about sending SMS on this forum, few months ago. I have solved this task with use of 3rd party software (see this link: http://www.klinkmann.com/gsm/gsmprice.htm and see a product with code PR000673 or PR00067, "GSM-Control V4.44 SMS Center software for PC"). This SW works as OPC client (WinCC works as OPC server...). You can trigger SMS on changes of states of binary variablesof Wincc,..... . You can format messages,.... . Bit unfortunatly, you can not directly import complete Alarm messaging from SCADA application to GSM-SMS application, because this application supports only OPC-DA access. Some work has to be done, but it is simple and also reliable. Have fun! uel123 |
