Sending Alarm logs thorugh SMS

shoaibb95 Regular Member Joined: 6/20/2018 Last visit: 12/18/2024 Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, hope everyone is well, I have siemens S7-1500 with IPC 477e (WINCC RT ADVANCED) and a desktop pc with WINCC RT ADVANCED, I've a requirement, I need to send alarm logs (logs saving as CSV file in IPC) via SMS and Email to customer, did the email part, but stuck in SMS part, I've a gsm modem (huawei usb one), so need to sms logs to customer through it, what I know so far is If I can make a VB script in TIA v15.1, to initialiaze my modem and call the function (modem will always be connected to either IPC or desktop PC in which RT Advanced is installed and alarms are logging into a csv file), or If TIA doesn't support it, I've to make a script in any language (preferably python because know basic syntax of python) which should always run in background (like a watchdog) if a new alarm logs into csv the script should send the SMS to the number. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
