Hello You'll agree with me, it's not possible to measure directly level of liquid with this temperature. You can go to choice some way of indirect measure, and after this device to give current or voltage refference proportional of the level and comfortable for reading. I'll tell you my expirience: 1. Measuring of hot steel level in mould (part of continious casting mashine). It's done by one radioactive elements putting on the front and one scintilation counter on the other side. Otput from counter is 4-20mA proporional to the level. This counter in our case was Berthold ( there you can see more info ) . This way has one disadvantage: Radioactive emission (this is bigest problem) + maintanence of radioactive element; Hope I give you some idea... regards |
