What DS SURESH KUMAR said is right. This is the simple & best solution. But please note that the switching frequency of sensor must be higher than the switching frequency at your maximum speed. After that connect that as a simple DI only to any high speed input of the PLC. |

Hello, Please have a look at nice example from Pegia. The S7-200 CPUs have high speed counters incorporated to do this task. The conversion counting pulses to frequency, however, must be done by user software. How to calculate frequency from counting pulses measurement Hope this helps. |

Hi all, Sorry for my very late reply because of another assignment, still i finished this on saturday... I just finished this by means of using HSC with the use of proximity sensor & also there s some change in motor spec, at first the sensor was not able read the pulses correctly then i changed the sensor based on SolutionFinder statement on selecting the sensor, switching frequency of sensor must be higher than the switching frequency at your maximum speed. Now i was able to read the pulses properly Thanks & Regards, Nelliyan.G |
