I am going crazy with the DBX0.0. I wanto to sent a boolean bit and read Int and real. In the second example I have seen that it is named DBX2.0 and in this step I only can say that I am lost.

Can anybody help me?

Yeah... If you are using ethernet it's impossible. If you are using Profinet it's impossible and if you are using Profibus it's impossible... I do not know what happens with Modbus but I am afraid it's also impossible... Minimum data lenght is usually 1 byte (8 bit).

I did it. All is more clear if you do not use the opmize block access. If you dismark the check box, you can see that in your DB there areyour variaables with its direction, I mean

in the DB10 I would have a bit DB10.DBX0.0, a byte DB10.DBB10 and so on.

If you want to access yo a bit of a byte and send it, you can and I am using profibus.

I haven't been able read the int and real data, but I haven't tried it much more because I found anothe way to do it.

yes it depend on DB attribute. But think, that some situation doesn't give you this solution, f.ex. if you need this DB as optimized (I/O with HMI). In this case its not good idea or you must create new DB or find another solution.

I think you are rigth my friend. Above I have put the solution of my application, but it isn't the general solution for all applications.
