Server Data problem in Server Client Configuration

Dhruva Posts: 89 Rating: (4)	Hello Experts, I am facing problem in the Server Data of Server-Client Architecture ; with 2 redudant Servers and 4 Clients. The problem is when there is switching of the Redundant Servers , the Archived Server Data / Values gets changed in the Client Stations. There is no connection of the Server Data for around 3- 10 minutes , because of which the Trends are showing wrong Data . Although the Online Tag Values are getting updated quickly. What can be the Problem I couldn't take the snap shots of the problem . I am using PCS7 V7.1 and the WinCC Version is WinCC V7.0 SP1 with Windows XP SP3 installed in the Client Station and Windows Server 2003 R2 is instaled in the Redundant Servers. The Server Redundancy is through CP1623 Cardinstalled in the Servers

n00dels Experienced Member Joined: 4/8/2013 Last visit: 6/30/2024 Posts: 95 Rating: (7)	if the clients have current online tag data theproblem does not seems to be in the server data. does it concern long term archiving or shorttime archives? can you tell us more about the archive configuration? i will try to reproduce the situation to see where the problem may lie.
