Set bit while key pressed via textbox

hi,

Im using WinCC unified in tia portal V.18 update 2.

When i create a textbox in a faceplate it doesnt work for me to setbit when i press and resetbit when i release. ive used setbitintag and resetbitintag and also settagvalue to 1 and settagvalue to 0. It only sets the bit but doesnt reset it on release. 

I have worked around this for now by putting a button infront of the textbox that has opacity at 0. this way i can use the press and release events of the button whilst having my textbox visible instead. Is there another way to solve this?
