Hi christopherreyes, I did some test project and for me the time synchronization works fine. While doing this project I realized that my function block is different from yours. I used the current version V4.0.0 of the library version V1.6.0 for V18. I'm not sure if you can use the system variable for the interface port for the hwID parameter, I used "Local~PROFINET_interface_1". And the connection ID allows values in the range W#16#0001 to W#16#0FFF. Kind regards |

Hi Stefan, now is working fine. Thanks a lot. I think the problem was that I was using an older library version. I'm having real trouble finding updated versions of things. A last question, in the comfort panel, in the place where you assign the server IP address you can add more than one server address, I understand that the function is: the panel takes the date and time of the Server 1 and if this doesn't work then the panel tries with the Server 2, in that order. I'm right? Thank you once again! |

Hi christopherreyes,
All configured NTP servers are queried and a selection and clustering algorithm is used to reject failed servers. See "How NTP Works" from the Network Time Foundation. Kind regards |
