Hi, do you use a crossover cable? The connection speed 100 MBit/sshould bepossible with a TP177. Bye |

The problem is definitly due to the cable : it is a straightEthernet category 5 cable BUT I tested it with a specific test tool for twisted pair cablesand it turns out to be a cable with aSPLIT pair (http://www.aeatechnology.com/usermanuals/AN225%20Split%20Pairs%20and%20Resplit%20pairs.pdf) it is very difficult to replace the cable. By reducing the transmission speed to 10Mbps I can however communicate over this cable. The only problem is that it seems not possible to set this speed (full duplex) on the HMI device. |
