When the user chooses one option (clicks a button), appear another menu with a default screen. In this new menu, I want to highlight the menü button which belongs to this (default) screen, without this button having been clicked. Of course, when the user clicks a button, it can be highlighted, but I don't know how is it possible without clicking it. I hope you got what I wanted to say.

By this you can follow where you are in the menu. Now you can (highlight) the menu button by using BorderColor (with javascript or not).
