Set minimum off and on time for output pulse of fb5

Reymond Posts: 112 Rating: (0)	Dear colleaguse, Good evening I just want to ask if someone already did setting some minimum off and on time for the output pulse of fb58. I tried to put 5sec for the minimum pulse break parameter of the instance db but it didnt work. I hope someone could give a hand. Thank you very much in advance. Best regards,

Did you check if the value is correct and downloaded in theonline DB? It should be REAL type in units of seconds and it's limited internally to be greater than pulse sampling timeCYCLE_P parameter. Also the pulse generator should be enabled. Did you fill the values manually or entered to parameters table? This is opened in the instance datablock editor by doubleclicking on desired instance DB. More information you can find in the online help (select the FB and push F1) or in the supplied manual (Start > Simatic > Documentation > English > PID Temperature Control). Regards Sydney

Reymond Posts: 112 Rating: (0)	Hi tagolover its my mistake its supposed to be fb 58. Hi Sydney you are right it is supposed to be fb 58. Right now the second time I do simulation the length of time it stays on or off is more time which is good for the actuating device (Burner) after some manipulation with the parameters.
