Tony1 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	I have three part programs, I call a Part program with NC Inputs $A_IN[X], with PLC input E6.2 (HK), idem for the others 2 part programs (E6.3, E6.1), I want to set a password instead to wire some key selector. I have S7 300 wit MMC103 version 5.3.

Pee Ell Sea Posts: 672 Rating: (57)	Hi, You can generate your own screens using The WIzard. This is covered in the HMI Instalation and Start up manual under Expanding The Operator Interface. The screen can then be called from the plc when an input goes high. The program can then be called from the wizard screen. You could possibly do it from a part program. Select and run a part program from the plc that displays a message to the operator to enter a password into a user variable. The operator would have to select the variable display screen him/herself. When the variable is entered check it in the program, then if correct select and run another program from within the one already running and clear the entered password. You would have to do this from a subprogram with the DISPLOF command so that the program didn't display the password. You could use the standard key and password system to protect programs from being run which would be a lot easier. Tell us why you want to do it and there may be an easier solution.
