The block can be used for both Set as well as reset. This block is not having anydependencywith MCR. This can be used for Memory Bits, Digital Outputs and DB bits. Revert back for any clarification. Set_Reset_Selection := TRUE);----------- Set/Reset ( 0/1) Please explain and send some usage of these bits. Y.Dhinakaran.

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 9/25/2023 Posts: 12153 Rating: (2624)	Hello Y.Dhinakaran; Would it help you if we pointed out that what you call an output is actually a pointer to the LSB (least significant bit) of QW0? P#Q0.0: look at your online help of Step 7 and search for pointer datatype. So you start by pointing the function to a precise address in memory (in this case output QW0) and then you tell the function how many units you will have it working on (the COUNTparameter, number of bits to be set/reset). The last parameter select whether the operation is to Set the selected bits (=1) or Reset the selected bits (=0) Doesthis clarify things? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
