Set the timer for a wiping relay via the output of a multiplexer

everything works, I was a victim of my multi screen and resolution arrangement (the drop down appeared but tiny on another screen)

my goal is to set the timer for a wiping relay via the ouput of a multiplexer (see attachment), it works principally but if the longer time (60) is stil running and I set the new time (15) the relay is reset; can that be avoided somehow ?

I know there are a few alternative ways to do it but this would be very elegant

A change of the inputs may only be accepted if the timer of the wiping relay is not running.

That's wrong, changed values are accepted, while the timer is running.

1. Change to longer time while shorter time is not reached = longer time is used

2. Change to shorter time while longer time is not reached = shorter time is used, running up to shorter time or stopping, if shorter time is already exceeded

The main question is, what exactly should the Logo timer do ? What is the background for changing timers, which are running ? If a selected timer with 60s is running for 30s and you change to 15s, would you prefer an additional impulse for 7.5s, because the half time of 60s has running and now you need the half of the new timer ? This make no sense to me, but you can explain ?

thanks again, so I have to do it the less elegant way

the background: the longer timer is triggered first and when condition change the shorter timer shall apply

@Scorp: in the simulation on my laptop the timer stops as soon as I change the timing value (V8.2.1); in yours it works ?

In my simulation the timer 60s is started. If i switch to 15s and the timer value is 15s or greater, then the timer stops immediately, otherwise the timer runs up to 15s and stop then.

The other direction, if the timer 15s is started and i switch to 60s, then if timer value is less then 15s, the timer change to 60s, otherwise the timer still has stopped and you need a new edge at the trigger input.

somehow those functionalities do not like me...

I want to use the output of a counter as the timer input for a wiping relay, if I do that the max. time base selectable is minutes, for fixed values hours are possible also. How come ? I attach a simple example
