Set Wincc 6.2 Computer Server

Good Morning,(and excuse me for my english)
I have a problem with WinCC 6.2 and configuration of pc server in the project..

Normally I use Simatic Manager for manage HMI project (WinCC), for open project, donwload...ecc.. on the develop machine (with name LAMWRK01) without problem..

The folder tree of the project in Simatic manager is this

+Project Name Simatic
+Server Name (LAMSRV01)
+WinCC Aplication
+ Project Name WinCC

These are all correct..
When I open project with right click on Project Name WinCC, WinCC start and Normally I have in folder "Computer" these:
LAMSRV01 (server)
LAMCL01 (client)
LAMCL02 (client)

This is the correct configuration..

Last Week I open another WinCC project (on the develop machine)(non managed with Simatic Manager), and at the start of project WinCC tell me that the server is not found and ask me if I want start server locally.. I click YES!!!!

It's the beginning of my problem!!!

Now when i open the "Normal project" in Simatic Manager, the structure is good, but when I open WinCC Explorer I found in the computer folder these names:
LAMWRK01 (server)
LAMCL01 (client)
LAMCL02 (client)


If I change the name LAMWRK01-->LAMSRV01, close the project, then re-open.. WinCC tell me that the server is not found and ask me if I want start server locally..

I try to unistall winCC, clean the registry file then reinstall, but the problem is the same..

I don't try to download the project because I naven't a backup machine...


What can i do?

I am not sure I understand your problem because I see that your original configuration and description of how it behaves as normal. Atleast in the configuration of how it is executed in our projects when we open the engineering station , we see the WinCC project with computer name same as the Engineering Station. However we never run it because we do not have a runtime license only a development license. (you can do it for a short while till the warning comes..and in the strictest sense it is illegat to run so). After making developmental changes you downlod it to the server using the Simatic Manager. When you download the server packages are updated and also the computer names and with this the enginerring station is renamed to the server name.

What you can do is just restart your computer and open the project,download the project witout bothering about anythings and then run it on the server. May be it works otherwise give some more details on the problems faced.

Note:
The message mentioned above appears, for example, if you archive a WinCC project and then dearchive it and open it again on a different computer.
