Setbit HMI problem

Assylum Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Hello All, I am working with an S7-1200 1215C and a KP400 Color basic PN. My problem is very easy. I want to set a bit M106.0 from the HMI by pushing a button. I create a tag "OK"in the tag table and then on the HMI screenI set a system function: setbit->"OK" for one of the function buttons . But it doesnt change while running and pushing the button, while watching it in the watch table. (remains false) Can someone help me with some ideas or some written materials? Many thanks!

Assylum Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Helli Wizard, I have similar bits in my program ( "reset alarms" and "system start"). They work fine, but if I want to just create a new memory bit tag and use one of the keys to set it with "setbit" function, it doesnt work. The HMI communiaction works fine, because I can monitor values with I/O fields and I can reset alarms and start the system with it. any ideas?:) BR, Assylum

Are you sure the %M106.0 is not used in CPU program? Perhaps you can use Cross Reference to check. Pay Attention: M106.0 can be part of a Word or DoubleWord. Best regards, Wizard
