setting a bit within a word to "0" or "1"

miz Posts: 15 Rating: (1)	Can I know the meaning of "set bit" and "reset bit"? I want to set value "0" or "1" to one of the bits of word (which containing 16 bits). Can any of you please give me the explaination to make this?
