Setting an S5time variable value from wincc IO field

dmaniot Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hello to everyone, I would much appreciate it if someone could give me some advice on how to set an s5time variable in a DB, using a wincc IO field.What sort of external tag should I create in wincc (wincc ver7), for this purpose? Should I take any special care when configuring this IO field object in wincc? I really hope my question is clear to everyone. Thank you very much in advance!

But check this FAQ, it should be very helpful. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22531788 But I would rather convert TIME format to S5 time in PLC using FC 40 (TIM_S5TI)from theStandard Library under "IEC Function Blocks". Now I canuse IEC time in WinCC which is a count in milliseconds. I can even do scaling in the tag if I need the time in second, monute or hour.
