Setting physical addresses to slaves in Profibus network

Scholesy18 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi! We are setting up a profibus network. We are using seven different Simatic s7-300 as a master and slaves. S7 AUTOMAN Posts: 515 Rating: (56)	hi, DP slave addresses are automatically assigned to the DP stations when you configure it. If you want to change that you can double click the same and can change the addresses. Also you need to assign the same address configured in the software to the DIP switchsetting in the physical module.

HI, The DIP switch setting only needs to be done in the IO rack(IM module) and not in the CPU. For CPU its automatically done in the hardware configuration(CPU properties). You just need to download the same.
