Sometimes after a powerdown it is not possible to re-integrate / de passivate some of the safe-I-O modules. One or more modules do have an SFerror. In 80% of the powerdown situationsthere is no problem. We have 2 equal projectsone in the Netherlands and a lookalikein France. Both projects have the same behavior. However, in France, the CPU 416-F2 and its PS305 powersupply's (IM power)are connectedon a UPS system. Only the power on the I-O modules goes down after a power-loss. The only way tot reset the SF failure (and the internal I-O error) is to powerdownthe IM module or pull the I-O module from the backplane, wait a few seconds, and replace the module into the I-O rack. (module isn't wrong) Because of the internal I-O error re-integration an de-passivation is not possible. This situation happens3-5 times a year. Most of the timedifferent I-O modules are involved. The installation is running for 2 years now. What is the solution for this problem? Thanks for your help AttachmentDO8xDC24V2A.zip (294 Downloads) |
