SF fault in S7-300 PLC

ashishm Bronze Member Joined: 2/1/2011 Last visit: 9/13/2023 Posts: 186 Rating: (4)	Dear Sir, There is a s7-300 PLC with DI/DO cards and Finally FM355 PID control(355-0VH10-0AE0) card. Sometime (randomply with gap of 10 to 15 days or at system startup) SF in s7-300 PLC occur and all Inputs reading taken on FM cards become Zero. After Diagnosis from Module Information, SF was due to: 1. I/O access error of addresses assign to FM card. 2. No SF on FM card. As PLC is stopped and start again then it becomes ok. Kindly tell me the possible reasons for occuring of the problems.

playerslight Posts: 1064 Rating: (72)	when you get your diagnostic file click on settings and and change it from default to preselect so you get mor eof your diagnostic buffer , all yours shows is dword access error not what is causing it

This fault comes suddenly and as we make plc stop and restart again then it stars working okay. FM card changed, PLC changed but still problem could not be rresolved. It comes randomly and in a week two or three times. Kindly suggest me the working to do for resolving this problem. Attachment Diagnose_C_D.zip (486 Downloads)

window 10 simatic Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	S7 fault problem show in s7 300 cpu in some time time interval and reset . Some time automatucally reset or some time need power resatrt .
