Hello ryan3 You are using a 31xC CPU aren't you? (SFB48 is only for these types of CPU's). If so,the links below should give you the answers: How do you use the built-in function "Frequency Measurement " of the S7 CPU 31xC? CPU 31xC Technological Functions I hope this helps |

Where your input goes depends on your hardware and hardware configuration , This is explained in the manuals that Fritz mentioned |

Normally the input is I124.0 (standard). |
