SFC 51 Usage

Info1 Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am aware that I can use SFC 51 to read the diagnostics of a DP slave. I have 20 S7 315-2dp PLCs on a network. I want to read the Profbus address of each. I want to display a name on each TP I have depending on the Profibus address of that PLC. SFC 51 allows me to read a Profibus address but you have to put in the diagnostic address and call sfc 51 for each profbus address. Therefore you cant match up a Profbus address to a PLC in order to display a text. I want to be able to read the profbus address and depending on what that address is,I will display text on a TP. There is a TP unique to each PLC. Thanks

Info1 Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi, I want to know that if say profbus address 3 is connected, then display a text on the TP linked to that PLC the name say Profibus 3. Therefore we would know from looking at the TP what the profibus address is of that PLC. There is a Delta V master so probably an option is to write from the Delta V side to each DP slave. But I thoughtt it should be possible to rerad the Profbus address from each slave so that each slave would would its own profbus address.
