Hello Simon738 You are correct, any value in the RET_VAL output that does NOT have the most significant bit on is NOT an error but instead a status information. Using <F1> on SFC58/59 will give you the context sensitive help (which you probably know already) and "status" code 7000hmeans the following in plain english: Your program called the SFC with theREQ (Request) Input being zero and no (more) data transfer is active and the BUSY output of the SFC will have a value of zero.
