Hi,

  Right now i am working with 2  IM151-8 cpu's. Is it possible to share 1 input with these both CPU's by Use of 1 IM151-3 and 1 input module to share with both the CPU's. 

Gone through Profinet manual  in that i understood(not sure) for shared device function we need 2 input modules for single input.. is it correct?

is correct.
You can only "share" a module, so if you will use the IM151 then you need 2 modules , one for the CPU1 and one for the CPU2, then the IM share the modules with 2 PLC's.

A share of only on inputbit is not possible!
