Shared Commissioning = Shared Frustration

you can use the online interface of your PC/PG only for one CPU, or for S7-PLCSIM. See also the download FAQ:

The frustrating part is that none of the 5 can do a download until they go to each of the others and have them get offline.

If you try to download and another ES is online you get an error message in the download window letting you know that another station is online.

So this begs the question if the CPU knows there is another station online why not simply halt other online connections for the 3 seconds it actually takes to do a download then put them back online. Why is it up to the commissioning engineer to walk around and ask all others to hit their offline button while I do a download. then walk around and let the others know Im finished.

Now I know this isnt the way this will be forever and Im sure someone is already working on this but these half release half working pieces of software are killing us customers.
